It’s seems like sendmybag.com was launched only a few months ago but the reality is we are now 5 years old, we have moved tens of thousands of suitcases, saved £10,000s in excess baggage charges and almost every university in the country recommends us as a travel aid.
But it’s not the awards or vast press coverage which has grown sendmybag.com (although we have enjoyed them!), sendmybag.com has grown quickly because of YOU, over 90% of new customers cite a recommendation as the reason for using us to move their student baggage.

In 2006 sendmybag.com launched a successful student rep programme and now in the age of social media we are bringing it back with more commission than ever!

Earn £2 for every person who sends a bag on your recommendation!

How it works:
The job is simple, you can do it when you want, and you can do as much as you want...
We will provide you with a REP ID and promo materials such as, Posters, Flyers and business cards.
You then simply put the posters somewhere they will get noticed! You might put a poster in your halls, the accommodation office, the student union, you might place business cards in college pigeon holes, or include flyers in your Uni’s fresher’s packs next September.

It really is up to you whether you place one poster at the end of your own corridor or distribute hundreds of flyers.
As well as posters you can also promote sendmybag.com from Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Bebo & More. Just think one message sent to all your friends or one re-tweet from your university’s twitter account could earn you hundreds of pounds...just remember to include your REP ID in all social media messages!

How do I get paid?
When new users sign up to sendmybag.com they will be prompted to tell us where they heard of us, the list will consist of options such as “Jon - Durham”, “Sarah - New College” etc. Don’t worry steps are taken to ensure everyone does not simply choose the first option!

You will be paid £2 for every new user which cites your Rep ID!

At the end of each month we will run a report which will tell us how many people cited your Rep ID. We will then send you a cheque, if 100 new users join you get £200, if 500 join £1000 (...you get the idea).  Amounts will be paid in blocks of £50 so you should only become a rep if you do plan on having a go...not just saving one or two friends £2!
The beauty of this is that every year 1000’s of new students arrive at your uni and most uni’s simply have so many thousands of students that new people might walk past your poster every day...when we originally launched this idea 5 years ago one poster in a Glasgow University Building earned £100’s of pounds in September alone!

Universities are so big and excess baggage effects so many students we are happy for more than one rep to cover a university, but play fair and don’t remove posters belonging to another rep! In the case of reps which are very successful and which commit to promoting sendmybag.com throughout the whole university and who show evidence of this we may grant you an exclusive licence to be the sole rep for your uni!

PS. Reps don’t need to be students; you may work or teach at a uni, college or school...this is an excellent opportunity to supplement your income and we’re happy to sign up people of all ages just as long as you are enthusiastic!
You may also not even be at uni anymore but may like to simply use social media or other local contacts in sixth forums etc, in these cases we are happy to sign you up as a social media only rep.
