China Southern Airlines Carry-On Baggage Allowance:

South Korea to China Routes: Economy Standard includes 1 piece (23 kg). Premium Economy includes 1 piece (32 kg). Business includes 2 pieces (32 kg each), and First Class includes 3 pieces (32 kg each).

Domestic Routes (Within Mainland China)

Domestic flights utilise a strict weight-concept system rather than piece counts:

Economy & Premium Economy Class: Up to 20 kg (44 lbs) total.

Business Class: Up to 30 kg (66 lbs) total.

First Class: Up to 40 kg (88 lbs) total.

China Southern Checked Baggage Allowance for Infants

For an infant traveling without a separate seat on routes operating under a piece-concept system, a complimentary checked allowance of 1 piece up to 22 lbs (10 kg) is permitted. The total linear dimensions of this bag must not exceed 45 in (115 cm). Additionally, parents may check one fully collapsible stroller, buggy, or approved infant car seat free of charge.

China Southern Excess Baggage Fees

Excess baggage fees will be charged if a passenger exceeds the baggage allowance included in their fare.

The cost of one additional bag is CNY1380, and CNY2000 for any further additional bags.

An oversized bag incurs a fee of CNY1000.

An overweight bag between 61 lbs/ 28 kg and 70 lbs/ 32 kg is CNY1010, and an overweight bag between 70 lbs/ 32 kg and 99 lbs/ 45 kg costs CNY3000.
