This is the second in our series on the best day trips from European capital cities. This week we take a look at the top five day trips you can take from Germany’s capital city, Berlin. Berlin is typically touted as an exciting, vibrant city that exudes cool. There is plenty to do in Berlin, from eating at fabulous restaurants, to enjoying Berlin’s hipster nightlife, to visiting the many historical monuments that attest to Berlin’s important role in European and world history. This doesn’t mean, however, that visitors won’t benefit from taking a day or two to explore the areas surrounding Berlin, to take a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of the city and to experience another side to Germany.
There are a number of English speaking universities in Europe that offer courses taught in English, which is great if you are not proficient in other European languages. These universities can be found in countries such as the Netherlands or Sweden. In the last in our series on 'studying in Europe', Send My Bag takes a look at how to apply for a degree course in the Netherlands and Sweden and how much it might cost you. You can also take a look at our previous blogs to learn about studying for a degree in France, Germany and Spain.
Airlines are already penalising customers for all manner of minor indiscretions, such as bringing 1 kg of extra baggage or not printing a boarding pass before arriving at the airport. But when the airlines are the ones in the wrong – when their flights are delayed or cancelled, or when a passenger’s luggage goes missing – it seems that it is once again the customer who will have to pay.
We don't sell cardboard boxes but the 457mm x 457mm x 457mm boxes available here are the best value we've seen and the size is perfect for our service. The pack includes 15 boxes and delivery for under £25. 15 boxes may be a lot but we recommend sharing or giving away what you don't need, the other packs we found which included less boxes were the same price.
