Ever wondered what luggage you are allowed to bring on board a train? It may not be as much as you think. Most train lines have limits of three bags, of which one must be a small item of hand luggage. They often charge fees for extra bags, or those with dimensions over 1 metre. Arriva Trains Wales Bikes, Dogs and Luggage Allowance

The Arriva Trains Wales luggage allowance is two large items, plus a smaller item of hand luggage that can sit in your lap, if necessary.

If your luggage occupies a seat next to you, you may be charged for this. Any additional items may also be charged for. You should be able to manage this luggage without assistance. If you have a disability, you can request assistance with luggage in advance.
