Wizz Air Hand Luggage Allowance:

One personal item measuring no more than 40 x 30 x 20 cm and weighing max. 10 kg, free of charge. Priority customers may also bring on board a 10 kg trolley bag, providing it measures no more than 55 x 40 x 23 cm. Wizz Priority costs between €0 and €60.00 online, and €65 at the airport.

Wizz Air Hand Luggage for Infants

If you wish your infant to remain in their car seat during the flight, you will need to purchase a seat for them. Only rear-facing car seats can be used. Collapsible buggies can be brought to the door of the plane, where they will be checked into the hold for free. Wizz Air passengers travelling with infants may bring an extra personal item on board.

Wizz Air Hand Luggage and Musical Instruments

A musical instrument measuring 80 x 40 x 23 cm can be brought on board as hand luggage if Wizz Priority is purchased. The instrument counts as one item of hand luggage and must be placed in the overhead locker. Larger instruments that cannot be checked into the hold can be brought on board if a seat is purchased for it.

Wizz Air Hand Luggage Prohibited Items

Certain items are not allowed in your Wizz Air hand luggage. These include:

Firearms,

Poisonous substances,

Human remains,

Glue,

Paint.

Wizz Air Hold Luggage Allowance:

Passengers can purchase and check up to six individual bags per flight. Standard maximum dimensions for any piece of checked luggage must not exceed 149 x 119 x 171 cm.

When booking, you must select from four distinct weight tiers. Wizz Air enforces strict dynamic pricing based on your travel dates (peak vs. off-peak) and route distance.

10 kg Checked Bag: Prices range from €5.00 to €65.00 when pre-booked online. (Note: Each passenger is limited to a maximum of one 10 kg checked bag).

20 kg Checked Bag: Prices range from €13.00 to €86.50 online.

26 kg Checked Bag: Prices range from €16.00 to €94.00 online. 

32 kg Checked Bag: Prices range from €25.50 to €104.00 online.

You can also check one 10 kg bag into the hold, with prices starting at €5.00.

Wizz Air Excess Baggage

If you have pre-paid for a 20 kg bag, but your bag is found to be over this weight at the airport, you will be charged €13 per extra kilogram. 

Wizz Air Hold Luggage for Children

Infants do not receive a baggage allowance, except for a pushchair/ car seat, free of charge.

Exceptional Items as Hold Luggage

Sporting equipment is subject to an additional fee of €55-65, per item, one way, online or via telephone or €65, per item, one way, at the airport.
